Community Cabin offers fully furnished, shared houses across the Wakefield District for females aged 18 plus, who are facing difficulties and need a helping hand. All of our accommodation meets the Wakefield Council HMO standards and we are registered on the Wakefield Council Responsible Landlord Scheme.

Supported Housing Services for Women in the Wakefield District
Our supported housing services combine both accommodation and support for females aged 18 plus across the Wakefield District. They are designed to meet the needs of particular groups, such as females fleeing from Domestic Abuse, addiction issues, prison leavers and ex-offenders and those females who find themselves street homeless.
Our support can include:-
- Referrals to treatment services for alcohol, drug or health problems.
- Help with claiming and managing benefits, including Limited Work Capability Assessment and Personal Independence Payment. We offer weekly appointments to help you through this process.
- Referrals and support into mental health services and talking therapies
- Assistance and support to help access education, training and employment opportunities.
